2. When importing outside files, it may be necessary to render them. At the top of the Timeline, a red bar may appear. To render a segment, select IN and OUT on your Timeline, then go to Sequence - Render, Render All, or Render Only. By previewing in the canvas, you will be able to figure out if you need to render video or audio.
3. To import an image, simply go to File - Import - Files and it can be added using the following options: Insert, Insert with transition, Overwrite, Overwrite with transition, Replace, Fit to Fill, or Superimpose.
4. To adjust volume levels, go to the bottom left corner of the Timeline to the mountain looking button. When you click on it, lines will appear to run through the middle of all the bars. Now you can adjust the volume by dragging the line up or down.
5. Changing the size of the bars in the Timeline, is really easy; click on the '4 bars' tab in the bottom left hand corner of the Timeline. To add tracks, delete track, or reset the panel, right click on the left hand side of the Timeline.
