Tralala Children's Clothing

By Katie Wilber

Mothers and little girls alike are in for a unique shopping experience with clothing that comes from California, but pulls inspiration from France.

The owner of Tralala is Anastasia Backstrand. While living in France, she was mesmerized by patterns and colors. Eventually she went to school for fashion design in Paris. By the mid 90s she left France for a move to California where she designs clothing today. In 2003 she began Tralala with a vision to design high-end children's clothing.

Playtime for kids needs to be comfortable as well as fashionable. You will have the best dressed kids on the playground. If you like the vintage French look of floral appliques and black or red toile patterns, Tralala delivers that for your kids.

The clothing line from Tralala is incredibly unique. Made from 100% soft-combed cotton, the clothing has not been pre-shrunk. Therefore, the fashions will shrink the very first time they are washed. The clothing is sized for average children of every age, so remember that when picking the appropriate size for your children

The look of Tralala clothing can best be described as classic or romantic. Some designs have an Oriental flare with bold black and white fabric outlines in the skirts and play clothes. The clothing is made with limited edition, one-of-a-kind prints that are exclusive to Tralala. One look and you'll quickly realize they are something special.

The spring 2009 collection is an organic baby and toddler line called Pure. Although Tralala generally caters to little girls, the Pure line offers babies of both genders a chance to wear luxurious, stylish cotton fabrics that are a signature of the Tralala clothing line.

All clothing is made from 100% bamboo cotton, mother of pearl buttons, and organic satin. The collection is set to include blankets, dresses, layettes, and pant sets. The line is expected to be more stylish and appealing than the blander, organic clothing currently available to the discerning parent.

The company has partnered with Kids in Distressed Situations -- an organization that helps kids with the pure necessities of life such as shelter, food, and clothes. A portion of all sales from the Pure line will be given to the organization.

Tralala makes a habit of helping out those in need. It's also been involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Feed the Children.

Tralala clothing is available at boutiques across the country. If there isn't one near you, you can also shop for the clothing online. Whether you want to dress your little girl up in the unique clothing, or you have a newborn to buy a gift for, you will want to take a look at the Tralala clothing line. Fancy and fashionable as Tralala clothing is, it's bound to become your child's favorite clothing to wear thanks to its down-to-earth comfort. - 17944
