Classic Suit Brands

By Victor Santerino

The new year will bring in many new suit brands and designers and send just as many into oblivion. This statement is true for most designers, but not all of them.

With the new year many companies will prove once again, through another year in business, that they are here to stay. These are the companies that have been around for decades if not centuries.

Reading this article will give you a good idea of who some of the everlasting designers have been. Finish reading the article, bookmark it, and use this knowledge the next time you buy a suit.

The Hickey Freeman suit is a suit that just keeps getting better and better. This suit can be seen plastered all over the insides of GQ magazine, looking as young and as vibrant as ever. However, many people do not know that this suit has been around for over a century.

Brooks Brothers suits are some of the most popular American business suits on the market today. It should be no surprise that this company has been around since 1818. I think its safe to say that this suit will be around for many years to come.

The Hart Schaffner & Marx company is older than any other American suit company and yet makes more clothing than any other suit company in the world. Currently you can see the president sporting a nice HSM suit.

Wearing a Haspel suit today is just as cool today as it was 100 years ago. When I say cool I mean this both literally and figuratively as this company is the unspoken king of making summer suits.

This list clearly does not contain all the classics out on the market today. However, now that you have read this article, trendy suit brands and designers will never trouble you again. - 17944
